# Alternatives to Neos Meet

> The requirements Neos Meet does not meet, and which scheduler to use instead.

Canonical HTML page: https://meet.neos.network/alternatives

Neos Meet is a deliberately small scheduler, and small means missing things. If any row below is a hard requirement, the named alternative is the better choice.

## When to pick someone else

| If you need | Where Neos Meet stands | Look at instead |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Shift rosters for hourly staff — who works Tuesday, timesheets, payroll | Not what this is, at any tier. Neos Meet schedules meetings: you publish a booking link and people outside your team pick a time you are free. It has no concept of a shift, a timesheet, or a wage. | Homebase or Connecteam. Both do staff rostering, time tracking and payroll for hourly teams, which is a different product from a booking link. |
| Meeting polls — find a time across a group before anyone commits | Not built, at any tier. Booking pages offer times; they do not collect votes. | SavvyCal lists unlimited Meeting Polls on its entry plan, $10/seat/mo (Basic). |
| Apple or iCloud calendars | Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 only. A team can mix the two; CalDAV is not supported. | Zcal's free plan lists Apple calendars alongside Google and Outlook. |
| A Zoom or Webex meeting created for you | Google Meet and Microsoft Teams links are created automatically. For Zoom you paste your own link onto an event type and it rides every invite — we do not create the meeting. | Calendly creates Zoom and Webex meetings on its free tier. |
| A personal Microsoft account (outlook.com, hotmail) with a Teams link | Personal accounts can sign in and be conflict-checked, but Teams links need a work or school mailbox — Microsoft does not let personal accounts create Teams meetings. | Calendly covers personal Microsoft accounts on its free tier. |
| Routing forms, lead qualification, or Salesforce routing | Not built. Assignment decides who takes the meeting; ownership stays wherever your team already tracks it. | Calendly, gated to Teams at $16/seat/mo. |
| SAML or SSO | Not built. | Calendly — paid add-on on Teams; included only on Enterprise. |
| A documented public API or webhooks | On the roadmap as exploring: we want it and have not committed a shape or a version, so nothing is promised. | SavvyCal gates API & webhooks to Premium ($17/seat/mo). Cal.com and Calendly both publish one. |
| Taking payment at the moment of booking | Not built. Billing here is for your own subscription, not your invitees'. | SavvyCal ships paid bookings on Premium; Zcal takes a commission on payments collected on its free plan. |
| SMS reminders, or a workflow builder | Email confirmations and 24-hour reminders, on every plan including free. No SMS, no workflow builder. | Calendly — SMS reminders capped at 250 credits/seat/month on non-Enterprise plans. |
| A booking page on your own domain | Booking pages live at a handle on ours. Removing our branding is $5/seat/mo; moving the domain is not offered. | SavvyCal gates custom domains to Premium ($17/seat/mo). |
| To self-host, or to own the code | Not offered. Neos Meet is hosted only. | Cal.diy, the community fork spun out when Cal.com went closed-source in April 2026 — but it is single-user, and the team features are not in it. |
| A one-time purchase instead of a subscription | Subscription only, and the free tier is genuinely free rather than a trial. | TidyCal, $29–$79 one-time. |
| SOC 2 or HIPAA attestation today | Neither is held. We publish what we do and do not have rather than implying an audit we have not paid for. | Every enterprise-tier scheduler publishes its own attestations; ask for the report, not the badge. |

Doodle and Microsoft Bookings are absent from that last column on purpose: both publish pricing we could not read reliably, and we have published a wrong competitor number from exactly that situation before. Being unverifiable is not the same as being absent.

## When Neos Meet is the right answer

### A team of three or fewer that needs one shared link

Of the schedulers we hold vendor-read figures for, none includes a shared team booking link on a free plan: Cal.com's free tier is single-user, Zcal gates team features to Pro, SavvyCal has no free plan at all, and Calendly gates round-robin to Teams. Ours covers 3 hosts at $0 with collective scheduling. Round-robin is not free here either — it starts at Team, $8/seat/mo — and if round-robin specifically is what you need, Zcal carries it on Pro at $7, below our price at every team size.

### Round-robin without an enterprise tier attached

Round-robin is $8/seat/mo here against $16 on Calendly Teams. It is not the cheapest on the market — SavvyCal includes round-robin on its Basic plan at $10, and Zcal on Pro at $7 — so if round-robin is the only thing you need, price it against those two as well.

### You want to be able to check what you were told

The price on the page is the price, with no renewal escalator; the calendar permission requested cannot return event titles, guests, or contents; and the export is one click and stays free after you cancel. Each of those is written down as a covenant clause you can hold us to rather than a value on an about page.

## If you leave

The export is one click, includes everything, and stays available after you cancel. https://meet.neos.network/help/leaving-neos-meet maps the export file onto Calendly, Cal.com, SavvyCal and TidyCal specifically.

## Provenance

Prices and plan gates on this page are generated from the same source the HTML page renders from, so the two cannot disagree. Competitor figures were read from each vendor's own live pricing page; the full set carries the date July 21, 2026.
