Every account has one — your handle with ?ref= on the end. It is in your settings.
Credit is earned when they complete their first booking, not when they sign up.
1 month of any paid plan, free, as a credit on your next invoice. No cap.
How a referral is counted
Every account has a referral link, and it carries a random code rather than your name. When somebody opens it and later creates a Neos Meet account, that account is recorded as referred by you. The link is remembered for 30 days, so they do not have to sign up in the same sitting.
If someone arrives through two different referral links, the first one counts. Nobody can take credit for a person somebody else introduced by getting a link in front of them later.
Your link does not identify you. A referral link is something you post publicly, and your booking handle is usually your name — so the link carries a random code instead, and we strip it out of our own analytics rather than let it ride a stranger's pageview.
When the month is actually earned
Not at signup — when the person you referred completes their first booking. An account that has never been booked is not evidence of anything, and we would rather the reward mean something than pay out for an empty signup.
It is earned once per person you refer, and that is enforced by the database rather than by policy: there is no arrangement of events that pays twice for the same person.
You cannot refer yourself, and a referral only counts if the person is new to Neos Meet.
What 1 month free means
Both sides get it — you and the person you referred, the same amount, at the same moment.
It arrives as a credit on your account worth one month of your current plan, and it comes off your next invoice. It is not a pause on your billing and it does not change your renewal date. If the credit is larger than your next invoice, the remainder carries forward.
If you are on the Free plan when you earn it there is nothing to put a credit against yet, so it is held until you start a paid plan. We record that rather than quietly dropping it.
Referral credit adds to whatever you already have. It does not replace your beta window or your trial, and it does not expire.
How many you can earn
There is no cap. Refer two people or two hundred; every one that completes a first booking earns a month.
We are saying that plainly because an uncapped offer is the kind of thing companies quietly add a limit to once it starts working. If we ever need one, it will be announced on the changelog before it applies, and it will not be applied to credit already earned.
If we end the programme
Credit already earned stays on your account. Ending the programme stops new credit being earned; it does not claw back what it has already given, and this page keeps serving so the terms you earned under can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Changes to this page are dated on the changelog, like every other change to what we promise.
