Switching from Calendly

A step-by-step move that keeps your existing Calendly bookings intact, plus an honest list of what Neos Meet does not have yet.

There is no automated importer
Neos Meet cannot read your Calendly account and copy your event types across. We haven't built one — that is a choice about what to spend the next month on, not a technical impossibility. Calendly's API would expose names, durations and weekly hours; buffers, minimum notice and booking windows it would not, so even a finished importer would leave you checking the settings below by hand. Here is the manual path, which takes most people about fifteen minutes.

Before you start

Nothing about this switch breaks your existing Calendly bookings. Meetings already scheduled there stay scheduled, and old Calendly links keep working for as long as that account is live. You are adding a second booking page, then quietly retiring the first.

The move, step by step

  1. Sign in with Google. Your booking page is created on the spot — a handle, Monday-to-Friday 9–5 hours in your timezone, and a 30-minute event type. You can take a booking before you configure anything. See Getting started.
  2. Connect your calendar. Do this before anything else: until a calendar is connected, your page offers no times at all. How to connect →
  3. Rebuild your event types. Open each Calendly event type in one tab and recreate it in Scheduling → Event Types. Copy across the duration, the buffers, the minimum notice, the booking window, and any custom questions. Or paste a description — "30-minute demo, weekday afternoons only, 15-minute buffer after" — into Scheduling → Set up with AI, which drafts the configuration and shows you the resulting slots before saving.
  4. Set your real hours. Copy your Calendly availability into Scheduling → Availability, and check the timezone at the top before you save.
  5. Invite your team.Paste teammates' emails into a team link; each of them connects a calendar and confirms their hours. A shared team link is free for up to 3 hosts.
  6. Swap the links people actually click. Your email signature, your bio links, your proposal templates, your CRM sequences. This is where the bookings really come from.
  7. Run both in parallel, then let Calendly lapse.Send the Neos Meet link for everything new and let the remaining Calendly bookings play out. Check Calendly's own terms for when a downgrade or cancellation takes effect for you.

Mapping the concepts

  • Event type → event type. Same idea, same URL shape.
  • Availability schedule → your schedule under Scheduling → Availability. One weekly schedule with a timezone.
  • Round robin / collective team event → team link, with the same two modes. Details →
  • Invitee questions → custom booking questions on the event type.
  • Reminders → included on every plan, including Free. A reminder email goes to the invitee 24 hours before the meeting; there is nothing to configure.

What Neos Meet does not have yet

Worth reading before you commit, so you find out here rather than halfway through the switch. None of the following exists today:

  • Exchange (on-premises) or iCloud calendars — Google and Outlook/Microsoft 365 only. Outlook accounts can be work, school or personal, for both signing in and connecting a calendar — though only work and school accounts can create Teams meetings.
  • Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting creation. Google Meet links are created automatically; other locations are text you supply.
  • SMS reminders.
  • Routing forms and lead-qualification rules.
  • Workflow builders and automated follow-up sequences.
  • Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, or Zapier integrations.
  • Payment collection at the time of booking.
  • SSO, SCIM, and audit logs.

Several of those are on the roadmap — but a roadmap is not a feature, and we would rather you decide with the real list in front of you.

What you get in exchange

A shared team booking link with up to 3 hosts on the free plan, reminders and custom questions on every plan including free, published per-seat prices with no contact-sales tier, and calendar access limited to free/busy reads plus the events Neos Meet books. The side-by-side comparison has the current figures with the date they were checked.

Still stuck?

Email support@neos.network with your booking link and, if there is one, the exact time an invitee tried to book. A real person reads it — there is no bot in front of us.
